
Position Summary:
The Restaurant Cashier will take customer orders for the kitchen, operate the cash register, communicate with customers, and assist other restaurant staff as needed.
Duties:
- Physical endurance to stand for an entire shift
- Setting up, cleaning and organizing work station
- Preparing ingredients for the shift, washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.
- Handling multiple food orders at one time
- Sanitizing and cleaning work stations and utensils
- Reordering stock and food supplies
- Assisting other cooks in preparing food or helping other team members when needed
- Preform any additional related tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts & able to work on short notice
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Physical endurance to stand for an entire shift
- Able to work independently or as a member of a team
- Good oral & written communication skills
