On the evening of December 12, 2018, Sioux Valley Dakota Nation held their annual Brandon Community Christmas Dinner. It was held in the MNP Hall in Brandon’s Keystone Centre. Friends and family gathered to share a Christmas meal, visit, and talk about another great year for Sioux Valley and all its members. Chief Jennifer Bone addressed the crowd and gave an update of Sioux Valley’s progress over the last year as well as its direction in the near future. To end the evening, the big man himself once again made an appearance at our community dinner, Santa Claus arrived to bring treats for the little ones in the crowd. Another successful community dinner to help bring the members of Sioux Valley closer and bring some Christmas cheer. It was a nice evening for all who attended.
