March at Canadian Museum for Human Rights – 8:30am
Flag Raising at Winnipeg City Hall -10:00 am
Sioux Valley Dakota Nation in collaboration with the Dakota Nations are pleased to announce the raising of the Dakota Nation Flag at Winnipeg City Hall on September 15, 2021.
The Dakota Nations will gather at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights at 8:30 am and proceed to march to Winnipeg City Hall via Main Street. The Flag raising ceremony will start at 10:00am.
All community members are invited to attend this event, however attendees must be double vaccinated and over the age of 18.
Refreshments and lunch will be served at the Victoria Inn following the ceremony. You must show your vaccination card to attend the lunch.
