Sioux Valley Dakota Nation is accepting letters of interest for the “Sioux Valley Dakota Oyate Constitution Committee”.
Applicants should have a good understanding of the Sioux Valley Dakota Oyate Constitution of the People #2007.12.12.01, which was later reaffirmed on October 4, 2012 in a referendum.
Applicants must be a registered member of Sioux Valley Dakota Nation, maintain a positive lifestyle and understand the Dakota culture, history and language. Applicants must be able to attend meetings online or in person (pending public health orders). Applicants must be able to attend bi-monthly meetings
Letters of interest can be dropped off at the
Sioux Valley Governance Office or emailed to Melissa.hotain@svdngovernance.com.
Deadline to apply is April 12, 2021 at 4:30 pm.
Selections will be made by Chief and Council.
