Dear Parents,

What should I do I if my child is sick?

Public Health officials advise that if anyone developed any one symptom listed in column A or any two or more symptoms listed in column B (see below), even if they are mild, they should immediately self-isolate and remain home from all public places.

They also recommend testing for COVID-19 as soon as symptoms appear. If a student at school displays. one symptom from column A or two or more symptoms from Column B, or a combination from either column, the school will immediately contact parents to pick up their child or notify of drop off.

Please keep your child home if they show any symptoms as suggested. Sioux Valley School(s) are starting to deliver children home who have symptoms and we are requesting this be done prior to sending children to school. It’s for all student’s safety that this be done prior to sending children to school. Let’s keep the Oyate as safe as possible during these pandemic times. The kids are enjoying school and we are so happy to see them daily, together we can do this!
