Sacred Fire For Residential School Survivors And Families (07.25.2022)

An opening prayer and sacred fire will be started on Monday July 25th at 8:00 PM to support Residential School Survivors and their families. Cultural supports will be onsite during the 4 days of the fire to support the wellbeing of the community. All community members are invited to attend, pray, visit, and support one another.

Location: Powwow grounds, next to the community gazebo Date: Monday July 25th 8:00PM to Thursday July 28th, at noon.

Over the next 4 days we are looking for men and boys to volunteer their time to watch the fire in shifts and for women and girls to help with cooking and attending the site. Please join us for a meal on Thursday noon hour to conclude the prayers.

On site cultural support available every evening 6:30-9:30
