Every year, SVDN holds Annual Community Holiday Dinners. It’s a time to reflect on the past year, visit with family and friends and take a small break from the everyday. the 2024 Annual Dinners began with our 60+ Elders Dinner, followed by our Brandon Dinner, Winnipeg & finally here at home in Sioux Valley Dakota Nation. The Winnipeg dinner was held at the Victoria Inn Hotel and Convention Center, with the Brandon dinner was held in the Keystone Centre, and the SVDN and 60+ Elder’s dinner was held in the our Veterans Hall. Each dinner was great and the members enjoyed themselves as they visited with each other, had some good laughs and make new memories for the years to come. At each dinner as something new or differet, including games, door prizes, photo booth, 360 booth and of course a big surprise for the kids when Santa Clause popped in for a visit! The children were very excited to see Santa and spend a few moments with him before he left back to the North Pole. We look forward to visits again in 2025.
