Winter has arrived!
We have had a few cases this week where students have boarded the bus in the morning without appropriate winter clothing i.e. coat, mitts/gloves, toque, etc. This creates a safety issue that must be dealt with on the home front. Parents are reminded to please ensure that their children are dressed for winter before boarding the bus each morning.
Past practice has been that in cases where there has been a pervasive issue with specific students who are not dressed for winter, bus drivers have been directed to not allow those students to board the bus in the morning.
We have been informed that there are agencies in the community that will assist with the purchase of winter clothing for those who are in need. Please contact the school for more information.
