Call out to our wonderful Wipazoka Wakpa community! Tatiyopa maza wayawa tipi is reaching out to our community for special donations. We are seeking sage to support our Dakota teachings-smudging, and prayers. The burning of sage holds a significant cultural importance and is used respectfully, guided by the appropriate protocols and teachings from our knowledge keepers, Dakota Language teachers and staff.
If you have sage to share and would like to contribute to our students’ learning journey please contact Administration at the school to arrange drop off. Your generosity in supporting this is important aspect of our students’ education is deeply appreciated. Wopida for showing support!
