Sioux Valley First Nations Safety Officers embarked on a three day high intense training for GSAR Search and Rescue. Each officer is now certified and SVDN FNSO will be registered in Manitoba as part of search and rescue Manitoba . We are very proud of FNSO as this was a test on teamwork, and agility. The instructors with many years of experience and knowledge worked each officer through for this course. This search and rescue was an idea from the Justice Coordinator in hopes to help our MMIWG when our team is called upon and also giving the proper training in the SVDN community and other surrounding communities when someone goes missing or needs help.
