For Our Northern Relatives Affected By The Manitoba Fires
”The rationale behind this day is that it serves as both a day of relief and mental wellness for those communities and peoples left devastated by the fires in the North. Family Wellness Day and the Concert was created to help promote awareness of the extreme conditions and weather events we have all experienced due to climate change.
SVDN and MKO share an unbreakable bond and this Wellness Day is both a showcase of that and a display of how all Nations should be helping one another. Our efforts hope to shine a light of hope for Nations to help one another and be there for one another – setting an example for the world to see how things should be, all Nations standing together to help one another in these trying and dire times of need.” – SVDN Lands Director
