SVDN Employment & Training

The SVDN Employment and Training Program assists clients to prepare, find, and maintain employment as well as assist in training and education related areas. Resources are provided such as: job postings, application forms, pamphlets, computer access, employment counselling, and general information.

The Employment & Training Program follows Canada’s Department of Human Resources Development (HRDC) guidelines and is funded by Service Canada and CIRNAC.

Mission Statement:
“Our purpose is to lead in the development of a skilled Indigenous workforce that empowers the residents and workers of the Sioux Valley Dakota Nation through assistance in Employment and Training.”
