On behalf of the Sioux Valley Dakota Nation, we extend our congratulations on your election as the new Grand Chief of the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs (AMC). We are eager to witness your leadership as you champion the priorities and concerns of all First Nations in Manitoba. We offer our full support as you assume this important role as the 9th AMC Grand Chief. We also take this opportunity to remember and honour the late Grand Chief Cathy Merrick, and her significant contributions as the first woman to lead the AMC.
