Eligibility Requirements:
You may be eligible if you are a First Nations person who was removed from your home as a child between April 1, 1991 and March 31, 2022. You, your parent or grandparent must have been living on reserve or in the Yukon at the time. (Removed Child Class)
Or:
You were a parent or grandparent caring for an eligible Removed Child when they were removed. (Removed Child Family Class)
Light snacks and refreshments offered all day.
Claims helpers provide free culturally safe and trauma informed informed support throughout the claims process.
Service Coordinators connect claimants to services and supports in their communities.
Deadline for Adult Claimants is March 10, 2028
