Beginning today, June 17, 2025, Sioux Valley Dakota Nation will be active on the former Brandon Indian Residential School site in an effort to remove decades of historic debris, remnants of former structures and ongoing safety hazards. This coordinated effort will involve multiple crews of staff, heavy machinery and is expected to take several weeks to complete.
