NOTICE TO ALL FIRST NATIONS, INUIT, MÉTIS, LEADERSHIP, GRASSROOTS, SURVIVORS, AND COMMUNITIES
We are calling on all Nations, organizations, leadership, Survivors and grassroots people across the country to stand together in unity and action.
This petition is grounded in truth, responsibility, and the ongoing impacts of the Indian Residential School system.
It calls on the Government of Canada to:
Ensure statutory, long-term funding for the search and recovery of missing children and unmarked graves
Protect and sustain Survivor healing, cultural supports, and community-led wellness services
Uphold commitments to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action and UNDRIP
Ensure all efforts remain Indigenous-led and Survivor-centred
