URGENT: FULL SCHOOL CLOSURE
ATTENTION PARENTS AND GUARDIANS
Due to a rapid deterioration in road conditions and the Trans-Canada Highway being reported as **pure ice**, Sioux Valley School is **CANCELLING ALL CLASSES** for Kindergarten through Grade 12 today.
**Ski Trip Update:**
The Grades 3-8 Ski and Tubing trip to Asessippi is **CANCELLED*
Students currently on buses: Drivers have been instructed to begin dropping students back off at their homes immediately.
Please ensure someone is home to receive your children.
The safety of our students and staff is our absolute priority. With the current highway conditions being deemed “unsave for travel,” we cannot risk putting our buses or staff vehicles on the road.
Provincial students will be excused for the day.
We apologize for the short notice and any inconvenience this may cause. Please stay off the roads and stay safe.
