As we move further into the winter season and face increasing cold temperatures, ensuring students are properly dressed for outdoor activities, transitions and bus riding is a matter of safety and health.
The current weather conditions require immediate attention to outdoor preparedness. Please ensure your child comes to school every day equipped with the following items, as students will continue to go outside for recess and other supervised activities unless temperatures or wind chill factors are extreme.
Importance of Preparedness
We also maintain a policy of encouraging outdoor time for health and well-being, even on cold days. We kindly request that you check your child’s backpack and gear each morning to confirm they have everything needed to stay warm and dry throughout the day.
The physical education department is noticing students are participating in gym classes with improper footwear or no gym shoes. For safety concerns and to prevent foot injuries, students will need to wear appropriate footwear.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping us keep all students safe and healthy this winter.
Pidameyah,
School Administration
