SUBJECT: Sioux Valley School Closure Tomorrow, Wednesday, December 10th 2025, due to unsafe road conditions in and out of the community from high snow fall accumulating
Please be advised of an important closure:
Sioux Valley School will be CLOSED tomorrow, Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
Student Classes: **NO CLASSES** are scheduled for all students (Head Start through Grade 12). Students must remain home. The Before and Afterschool Program is cancelled tomorrow. There will be NO provincial bus run, students will be excused for tomorrow.
The significant accumulation of snow requires extensive clearing in the community; driveways, roads and parking lots, bus lanes, emergency exits to ensure safe access to the school buildings. Local road conditions and surrounding area have been assessed as unsafe for bus travel and for staff commuting to and from school. The safety risks associated with travel are too high.
School Resumes: We anticipate resuming regular classes on Thursday, December 11, 2025.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority.
