Every year, Sioux Valley Dakota Nation holds annual Christmas dinners for SVDN members and their families. Each year the dinners are held in Sioux Valley, Brandon & Winnipeg, Again this year, the Winnipeg dinner was held at the Victoria Inn Hotel and Convention Center, while the Brandon dinner was held in the Keystone Centre, and the SVDN dinner was held in the our Veterans Hall. Each dinner was great and the members enjoyed themselves as they visited with each other, had some good laughs and make new memories for the years to come. At each dinner, there was a big surprise for the kids when Santa Clause popped in for a visit! The children were very excited to see Santa and spend a few moments with him before he left back to the North Pole. The SVDN dinner held a surprise for Santa as the Grinch was present. Despite his Grinchy attitude, Santa won him over and there was Christmas cheer for all by the end of the night. We look forward to our community Christmas dinners next year.
