ADJUSTED SCHEDULE FOR JUNE 23 – 26, 2026
Parents/Guardians,
Keeping in line with the events as they happen. The final week schedule, school trips and awards day. Unfortunately The Battle of Little Bighorn Days activities originally scheduled for this week will be cancelled. Out of the utmost respect for the community families who are grieving the loss of their loved ones some school closure days are planned for this week.
Tuesday June 23rd, 2026 – Kindergarten to Grade 8-Activity year end Field trip to Landmark Theatres to watch Toy Story 5. Bus transportation: Bus routes will begin later than usual tomorrow starting their routes at 10:00am. Buses will drop students off after 2:00pm. Also, Tuesday June 23rd 2026 is the High School Year End Field Trip (Grades 9-12) to Winnipeg. This is the official FINAL DAY of school for all Grades 9-12 students.
Wednesday June 24th, 2026 – No school- CLOSED (no school in respect for community and families)
Thursday June 25th, 2026 – No school-CLOSED (no school in respect for the community and families)
Friday June 26th, 2026 – Awards Day and Last Day of school (Kindergarten-Grade 8).
Location: Sioux Valley Powwow Grounds
Start time: 10:00am (sharp)
Belongings: All student personal items (shoes, jackets, backpacks) will be available for pickup at the Powwow Grounds. Dismissal for the summer will happen immediately after the ceremony. The school buses will be dropping students off right after the ceremony.
