Ace Chaske had started to play pool when Unkan Darryl McKay purchased a pool table and set it up at home. Ace wanted to learn as soon as the table arrived at home. Right away Ace had a very big interest and played every day. At the time Ace had to carry a small footstool with him to stand on and to shoot as he was too short. But this didn’t deter him from learning and playing he is 11 years old now.
Brandon started a new Youth Pool League this past fall for ages 8-17. This past weekend they had their year end pool tournament for all the league players. Ace won his first two matches and then lost his next two matches. They were all really close games that came down to the final ball on most games.
Ace was also voted as the most Sportsmanship Like Player for the season by his peers and was awarded a nice set of wireless earbuds. In the tournament he placed 5th out of 16 players. We believe this was a very good result for being his first year playing in a league & he also won some maza ska.
