Attention Students and Parents:
The Sioux Valley Education Counselling Team will be setting up an Emergency Contact Centre at the local school in Sioux Valley.
This emergency contact is in response to the State of Emergency that Sioux Valley is in due to the crisis situations happening.
All students and parents are asked to contact: Mrs. Corinne Harper at 204-512-5011, if you feel the need to talk to someone about your mental and emotional health. Transportation will be available for those who require it.
We are hoping that parents will also contact us if their child or children are requiring mental health support. We are here to support anyone who needs us. Together we can help get our community back to a better state of well-being, to be strong and be there for each other.
The following supports will be available to provide mental health services:
- Corinne Harper, Master of Guidance and Counselling
- Beverley Kithithee, Master of Social Work
- Jessica Murray`Finucane, Psychologist
- Erla Cyr, Master of Guidance and Counselling
- Erin Paupanekis, Psychologist
- Alex Holt, Psychologist
Services will be provided starting at 9:00 am from Wednesday to Friday this week, October 14 – 16, 2020.
