On December 15, 2017, the students enrolled in the ACC framing course received their graduation diplomas at a congratulatory dinner held at the SVDN Dakota Oyate Lodge. The students completed their final exam in September, but still needed to complete mandatory practicum hours for completion of the course. Representatives from Assiniboine Community College were in attendance to congratulate the students and deliver their diplomas, and special guest speaker MLA & NDP Leader of the Opposition Wab Kinew was there to congratulate the graduates and deliver a message of how important education is.
