Monday April 20, 2026 – To Celebrate Earth Week, the School will be touring the Community Garden and Greenhouse (Kindergarten to Grade 5, including High school science class) Parents please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for a garden environment. We recommend closed shoes or rubber boots. Layers (a sweater or light jacket)
Monday is also an early dismissal (2:15pm for all grades from Headstart to grade 12) Bus run will begin at 2:15pm. Please ensure that there is a parent/guardian or designated caregiver at home to receive your child(ren) at this earlier time.
**The before and after school program will not be running in the afternoon (pm).
Tuesday April 21, 2026 – continuing Earth week, Lands department will be visiting the Elementary school to give presentations (grades kindergarten to grade 8). Topics are energy efficiency, geothermal energy and garden updates.
Wednesday April 22nd, 2026 is the School Science Fair. The science fair will be taking place at the Elementary school gym for grades kindergarten to grade 8.
Wednesday is also Earth Day!
Thursday April 23rd, 2026 Garden Tour Continued. For grades 6- 8 (am only)
Friday April 24th , 2026. No school for Headstart to Grade 12.
Elementary Staff will be participating in Professional Development.
