Emergency School Closure Due to Severe Storm Damage
Please be advised that Sioux Valley School will be CLOSED to all students and staff tomorrow, Monday, June 8, 2026. ALL classes from headstart through Grade 8 are cancelled, until further notice.
***High School will Remain Open (Grades 9-12)***
The recent severe storm has caused significant structural damage to the school’s roof, resulting in a large amount of debris across the school grounds. Due to ongoing safety concerns regarding falling material, structural integrity, and hazardous debris, no one is permitted on the school property at this time.
*No before and afterschool program.
**Busing:High School bus routes will operate on their regular schedule.
**Provincial bus run will continue their regular pick up.
The safety of our students, families, and staff is our absolute highest priority. We thank you for your immediate cooperation and understanding as we work to secure and repair our building.
