Social has allowable earnings of $500.00. This means that you can earn up to $500 and it will not affect your monthly income. Anything over the allowable $500 will be supplemented.
Working with Employment & Training both departments created a calendar full of various workshops and is open to all social clients and the public to attend. Some of these workshops have certificates for attending, some of these have lunch provided and some workshops have door prizes available for attending.
Social will be having another cheque day on Dec. 1st . Please come to the social office to pick up your December issue.
Friday Nov. 28 there is a Lateral Kindness workshop that is happening at the Wicozani building 9am to 4pm. We have 10 more spots to fill for this workshop. Please come sign up at the social office. If you need a ride to any of the workshops, please let us know so we can arrange transportation.
