Chase McKay-Campbell, is 11 years old and proud to be from Sioux Valley Dakota Nation.
He is a competitive hockey player for the U13 Canucks team in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and also goes to a hockey school where he plays for the Winnipeg Jets Hockey Academy.
He recently got recognized on the Winnipeg Jets social media for their 50/50 advertisement which he was super excited about.
His passion is hockey. If he could be on the ice everyday for hours, he would.
He recently just started his hockey playoffs for his team and won the first game.
Once the season is over he continues to play in majority of the Indigenous hockey tournaments and we put him in spring and summer camps just to keep him on the ice until he starts his next hockey season in the fall. He absolutely loves it!
