ON June 28th, 2017, Sioux Valley High School held its 2017 graduation ceremony and was proud to present 12 SVHS students with their high school diplomas. Students entered the school nervous, but excited as this phase of their life was complete and their next journey was about to begin. After sentiments were expressed from Principal Kevin Nabess, and a speech from guest speaker Daynon Pratt, students were presented with their diplomas. Sioux Valley High Schools Valedictorian was Joshua Hapa-Allen and Michael Dominique-Taylor was the recipient of the Governor General Academic Award. Grads, family and friends were all treated to lunch before grads were whisked away in a limousine to cap off the day. A joyous occasion for all in attendance.
