On July 12, 2019, Jordan’s Principal Child First Initiative held their Grand Opening at the newly renovated office.
The opening prayer was done by Margaret Roscelli, Director of Health, followed by the Opening Song which was sung by Hank Hotain.
There were speeches done by Chief Jennifer Bone as well as Council member Evelyn Pratt.
Jordan’s Principal representative Joe Gacheru as well as Charlene Mazawasicuan, Jordans Principal Case Manager, had a beautiful speech for the Grand Opening.
The afternoon was full of events starting with a BBQ lunch, bouncy castles, face painting as well as wagon rides and archery.
Jordans Principal is now located at Sioux Valley School and provides services to on-reserve children and youth ages 0-21 years. They also provide support services to sibling and parents.
