Amendment to the “Notice of Vote”
May 26, 2021 – Sioux Valley Final Poll has been rescheduled to
June 10, 2021 – Sioux Valley Veterans Hall
The Sioux Valley Dakota Nation Vote/Final Poll for the proposed Sioux Valley Dakota Oyate Citizenship Law and proposed amendments to the Sioux Valley Dakota Oyate Election Law 2015.11.27-01 scheduled for May 26, 2021 has been rescheduled to June 10, 2021 at the Sioux Valley Veterans Hall from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm.
Sioux Valley Dakota Nation Public Health enacted Lockdown Restrictions – effective April 23, 2021 for SVDN to curb the transmission of COVID-19 and the variants of concern. The health and safety of our citizens and staff remains our #1 priority. Sioux Valley Dakota Nation Public Health extended those orders to June 2, 2021.
All Sioux Valley registered members are encouraged to vote either in-person or by mail-in ballot. You can request a mail-in ballot by emailing process.officers@svdngovernance.com or by calling 204-512-0873.
Mail-in ballot requests can be made regardless of residency.
Mail-in ballots received up to June 10, 2021 at 4:30 pm will be counted at the Vote/Final Poll.
