Today, Chief & Council along with some Elders will be honouring remains that have been held by the Province of Manitoba’s Heritage Branch for over a decade.
Sioux Valley Dakota Nation has graciously agreed to care for these Ancestors who were found within traditional Dakota territory.
These Ancestors will be honoured today with ceremonial and traditional protocols at Sioux Valley Dakota Nation.
