Sioux Valley Dakota Nation proudly announces their participation in the First Nations University of Canada Board Governance Program.
The Kiskēyihtamowina FNUniv Board Governance program is a transformative journey towards reimagining colonial systems and structures, aligning with our commitment to self-determination. Through this program, we search into bridging Indigenous and Western systems through “Two-Eyed Seeing”, fostering meaningful dialogue on topics such as community empowerment, governance, and community development.
SVDN staff are thrilled to be part of this initiative as they work towards their First Nations and Indigenous Director designation which that aims to empower our community, shaping a future that respects and honours our culture and governance.
