Sioux Valley Dakota Nation is pleased to announce that Elder Katherine Whitecloud was selected to receive the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal (Manitoba) from Lieutenant Governor Neville, Premier Stephenson and, Grand Chief Merrick, to mark the 70th anniversary of Her Late Majesty’s accession to the Throne as Queen of Canada!
The Medal is awarded to outstanding individuals who have made a positive impact on society through their dedication to the service of family, community, and country.
