Sioux Valley Dakota Nation would like to congratulate Alex Courchene (#7) and the Crocus Plains Varsity Girls basketball team on their victory over the Neelin Varsity Girls basketball team taking the best of 3 Brandon City Finals. Winning Game 1 at Neelin, then falling to Neelin at home in game 2, tonight was a must win battle to the end. Trailing by as much as 15 point midway through the 2 quarter, Crocus Plains faught beck to take the lead by the end of the 3 third quarter. When the buzzer sounded at the end of the game, Crocus won with a score of 47-41. Congratulation to SVDN’s Alex Courchene and the Corcus Plains Varsity Girls Basketball team, and best of luck as you head toward Provincials.
